We were asked to read the Education Grid at http://theeducationgrid.org/About_The_Education_Grid.html. The education grid is all about providing a secure and safe learning environment for teachers and students. Age is not a concern. Students get to explore virtual worlds like we have in this class. Its just like a playing a video game which is always appealing to kids and young adults. They also have access to all virtual worlds not just there limited to their class. Within each world, a student must create a username and then select an avatar. Its a private network so if a teacher doesn't recognize a student they get kicked out.
