Gimp Tools


Here are my screenshots of using each tool in GIMP specified in the lecture notes.

MIDTERM #8

MIDTERM #7

This is the painting I used.  


I cropped the image and added the eyes and the first line of text.


Here is my final image. I added two more lines of text and changed the colors of the 2nd and 3rd line. This image was saved as .jpg.

Class #6: part 3 Exercise

 Started off with the basic outline of a coin.  Added a border around the coin as well as stars.

 Started to outline te face of the coin. Added Liberty and In god we trust.

 The face is becoming more complete and clear. Starting to add more detail

Class 6: Part 2 Exercise

This is me creating a coin using gimp


Made the basic outline for my coin

Created a 3d border around the coin as well as a gray texture to give it some depth.


Added some indent marks on the side to give it a more realistic feel

Added the USA

Did my best to add as much detail as i could.  Gave it a 3d feel.  This is more realistic than the coin a made in Word.

Class 6: Part 1 exercise

This is me creating a coin using Microsoft Word



Did my best drawing a circle free handed. Used the free form line tool to create my shape.



Used the free form line tool again to create #25. 
used the free form tool again and made a cent symbol




 Add a light texture to the coin I drew





My final product. Gave this coin a 3d feel.
